As part of being Fair Trade certified, our plain Jackfruit product and our Sweet Potato flour are produced using responsible supply chains standards and providing initiatives that give back to these communities and farmers.
Most recently, due to the pandemic, many of the farm workers were unable to earn their daily earnings, resulting in the lack of daily food needs. A portion of the Fair Trade for Life Premium Fund went to distributing food kits consisting of rice, wheat flour, sunflower oil, lentils, chili powder, sugar, turmeric powder, which is sufficient to feed a small family for 1 month.
